Perfect Catering

At the International Motor Show for commercial vehicles 2004, XFAIR implemented a solution for MAN using pos:concept.

Since the exhibition stand included four catering areas, the task at hand was to minimize the long distances covered by the service staff. By using XFAIR's solution, the distance between e.g. counter or table to order delivery was curtailed. At the time of taking the order at the table, a sales slip was automatically printed in the relevant area (e.g. kitchen, counter, etc.) While the service staff was on the way to the kitchen to pick up the ordered dishes, these were being prepared and were already ready by the time of the staff's arrival. This meant that orders could be served promptly.
In the VIP areas of the exhibition stand, the advantages of such a system became particularly clear: Instead of covering unnecessary distances, the staff had the necessary time to attend to important guests.

Furthermore, it was possible to apply an effective cost control system, by use of which total consumption (food, drinks, etc.) and related costs could be controlled at all times.
