
Around 39,000 interested visitors and seasoned professionals made their way to the far north of Germany for GET NORD. At the trade fair for electrical engineering, sanitation, heating and air conditioning, more than 650 exhibiting companies presented their contributions to the latest industry trends between 21 and 23 November. The international audience and experts were able to exchange ideas about innovative developments and services and expand their network. XFAIR also had the opportunity to take part in the trade fair.

Details about the project implementation
The customer needed support with lead capture as well as stand management. In addition, the customer requirements included a catering system that was to be made available to each member of the stand team. In this respect, XFAIR was able to provide a comprehensive service with our software solutions and technical know-how.
To meet our customer's requirements, the XFAIR Customer Care team configured the My Event App ahead of the trade fair so that staff not only had a direct line to the kitchen or bar via their smartphones, but also had the documents relevant to their trade fair day-to-day readily available at all times.
In addition, a questionnaire was created for the Lead App that matched the sales team's needs when acquiring new contacts. Before the trade fair, our Tech Team set up the app on iPads provided by XFAIR in a data protection-compliant way. Furthermore, the customer's own app was installed on the mobile devices so it could be presented during conversations. Two workstations including internet access and a phone system were provided for the information desk staff. Name badges for the customer's staff were also printed in advance, with a printer at the helpdesk available to produce replacements if the original was lost or forgotten.

The experienced XFAIR team was able to provide the support the customer needed at GET NORD to prepare for the Hamburg trade fair efficiently and use it productively. Above all, this was made possible by the strong collaboration between the project leads from Tech and Customer Care and our contacts on the customer side. Even with the short lead time of two months, we were able to build a smooth, self-contained system. It's an experience we have been able to have with this customer time and again — and one we look forward to repeating in the future.
